Frequently asked questions about symprex.dot

For payroll disbursements, do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

What problem does symprex.dot solve for online sellers?

symprex.dot gives online sellers a dedicated, easy-to-share address for collecting money instead of a buried checkout page. It reduces friction by making the payment URL obvious and brandable as symprex.dot. Sellers can pre-order symprex.dot at /register.

As a payroll platform, how do I register donate.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Are tradeshows a fit for symprex.dot?

At a tradeshow, symprex.dot on your booth lets prospects pay deposits or buy on the spot from a memorable address. A payment-native name is easy to mention in conversation and follow-up. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for payroll disbursements?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
