Frequently asked questions about storageboxes.dot

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for BNPL checkout?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

How long does it take to register storageboxes.dot after I order?

After you order storageboxes.dot, the time to register depends on the registry phase: a standard pre-order is held until storageboxes.dot opens, while names already in general availability can process much faster. Amazon Registry Services controls launch timing for .PAY. Begin your order at https://domain.pay/register.

For mobile money, how should a regulated fintech think about .PAY and financial licensing?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Where do I pre-order once I've chosen over storageboxes.dot?

Once you've chosen a name over storageboxes.dot, you pre-order it on domain.pay's register page at the standard $100, with failed attempts refundable. The flow is the same whether you pick storageboxes.dot or a storageboxes.dot variant. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for mobile money for mobile money?

For mobile money, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
