Frequently asked questions about starbase.dot

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

What determines who wins starbase.dot at general availability?

At general availability, starbase.dot generally goes to the qualifying request that reaches the registry first. Pre-ordering with domain.pay stages starbase.dot to be submitted at the exact opening, improving your position. Stage your request at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a .PAY domain be longer than 63 characters for BNPL checkout?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

How can a coach sell sessions through starbase.dot?

A coach can route bookings and payments through starbase.dot so clients pay on a polished, payment-native page. It reads more credibly than a generic scheduler link and is easy to share. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for payroll disbursements?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
