Frequently asked questions about somebody.dot

Can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day for digital wallets?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Does owning somebody.dot require a trademark?

No, a trademark is not required to own somebody.dot. A trademark only grants priority during the early window; without one you can still place a first-day pre-order for somebody.dot. Trademark holders simply get to claim somebody.dot names ahead of the general queue at /register.

When is broader .PAY public registration expected for loan repayments?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Does somebody.dot require special hosting?

No. somebody.dot works with ordinary web hosting, redirects, or a landing-page service, just like any domain. You point its DNS wherever you want somebody.dot to resolve. The .PAY suffix imposes no special hosting requirement.

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails for payroll disbursements?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
