Can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1 for digital wallets?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Is sunrise mandatory to get soldoutshows.dot?

Sunrise is not mandatory for everyone; it is only the path for trademark holders to claim soldoutshows.dot early. If you have no trademark, you simply use general availability instead. domain.pay routes your soldoutshows.dot request to the correct phase at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for payroll disbursements?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
