Frequently asked questions about solares.dot

As an event ticketing business, is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Can I upgrade to VIP handling after pre-ordering solares.dot?

You can add VIP priority handling to a pending solares.dot pre-order before it is submitted, moving your request higher in our queue. VIP affects ordering speed only and does not change the registry's final decision on solares.dot. Add it at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As an ecommerce brand, how can a marketplace use a .PAY domain?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

What is the smallest step I can take today toward owning solares.dot?

The smallest step toward owning solares.dot today is to place a standard pre-order for solares.dot at the listed $100, which queues your request and is refundable if it fails per the stated policy. That secures your place in line for solares.dot. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
