Frequently asked questions about solar.dot

Is .PAY a new domain option for insurance billing portals for an insurance billing portal?

.PAY is a new gTLD for payment, checkout, billing and fintech-style use cases. domain.pay is the place to search, pre-order or begin a trademark route: https://domain.pay/. Check the name before using it in campaigns.

Are failed-attempt refunds for solar.dot automatic?

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for fraud prevention?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Should I use solar.dot for a microsite or my main site?

Both work. A short, brandable name like solar.dot can anchor your main site, or serve a focused campaign microsite that 301s to your hub later. The choice is strategic, not technical — search engines index solar.dot the same either way. Decide based on your brand plan.

Can I pay for a .PAY pre-order by card, wire or crypto for a regional bank?

domain.pay supports common payment paths including card, wire and crypto-invoice options as listed on the site. Start with the pricing page and checkout flow here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Payment does not guarantee registration; it reserves the applicable service attempt.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
