Frequently asked questions about smartours.dot

What should I do first if I want a .PAY domain for digital wallets for a retail brand?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

How early should I prepare my SMD relative to the smartours.dot priority phase?

Prepare your SMD well before the smartours.dot priority phase, since TMCH validation takes time you do not control. Having a valid SMD ready means you can submit the moment priority opens for smartours.dot. Late preparation risks missing the window. Get set up and register at https://domain.pay/register.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for BNPL checkout?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Is smartours.dot available for immediate purchase today?

Whether smartours.dot is available immediately depends on the registry's launch phase; many .PAY names are still in pre-order rather than open registration. The flow on domain.pay tells you the current status of smartours.dot. Check availability for smartours.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available for payroll disbursements?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
