Frequently asked questions about smartcover.dot

Can I pre-register a .PAY name without a trademark when choosing instant.pay?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

How do I check if smartcover.dot in smartcover.dot is on the premium list?

Enter smartcover.dot on our pricing page and the system shows whether the registry has placed smartcover.dot on the premium list or whether the $100 standard rate applies. Premium status is set by Amazon Registry Services. Look up smartcover.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I move a .PAY domain between registrars for BNPL checkout?

Transfers may be subject to registry, registrar and phase-specific rules, especially for LRP names. Start with domain.pay for the registration path and confirm eligibility before any transfer plan: https://domain.pay/register.

Does Amazon Registry Services review my SMD for smartcover.dot directly?

Amazon Registry Services operates the .PAY registry and defines the priority rules, but you submit your SMD for smartcover.dot through NicNames as your registrar. NicNames validates the SMD and passes the qualifying claim to the registry. You do not deal with Amazon Registry Services directly for smartcover.dot. Register via NicNames at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for wallet.pay for BNPL checkout?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
