Frequently asked questions about slake.dot

As a brand-protection manager, can a trademark owner register a matching .PAY domain now?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Should I secure slake.dot before announcing a new payment product?

Yes. Announcing a payment product can alert opportunists to register slake.dot before you do, so securing the slake.dot name first is wise. A $100 refundable pre-order lets NicNames lock slake.dot ahead of any public reveal. https://domain.pay/register

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for payroll disbursements?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

What does it mean to pre-order slake.dot before it launches?

Pre-ordering slake.dot reserves your place in line to register the name when the .PAY namespace opens it for general availability. The .PAY registry is operated by Amazon Registry Services, and a standard pre-order for slake.dot is listed at $100. Start at https://domain.pay/register to place your request.

Is there VIP help for a large .PAY pre-order portfolio when choosing tap.pay?

domain.pay says customers with pre-orders over $8,888 may qualify for VIP handling, dedicated support and more tailored failed-registration solutions. Review the current VIP language on the pricing page: https://domain.pay/pricing. Large portfolios should still expect availability and premium checks.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
