Frequently asked questions about skinkey.dot

As a remittance app, what does it mean if a .PAY name is premium?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

How do I set up a 404 and proper status codes on skinkey.dot?

Configure skinkey.dot to return a real 404 for missing pages and 200 for live ones, never a 'soft 404' that returns 200 on an error page. Correct status codes help crawlers index skinkey.dot accurately. Use a helpful 404 page on skinkey.dot with links back to key sections.

Can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1 when choosing tap.pay?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Why is skinkey.dot listed at $100 for pre-order?

The $100 figure is the standard pre-order price to reserve skinkey.dot ahead of general availability, and it is refundable if the attempt to register skinkey.dot fails per the stated policy. Priority registrations may differ. See the full breakdown for skinkey.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for wallet.pay for BNPL checkout?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
