Frequently asked questions about shifting.dot

What disputes can affect a .PAY Sunrise name?

.PAY Sunrise registrations can be subject to Sunrise dispute procedures if the registration or denial violates the Sunrise criteria. Start by checking your own label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register, and coordinate with trademark counsel for formal dispute strategy.

Can shifting.dot simply redirect to my existing payment processor?

Yes. Many owners point shifting.dot as a redirect to a Stripe, PayPal, or custom checkout link, so customers see the clean shifting.dot address while the processor handles the transaction. You keep your existing setup and gain a memorable front door. Register shifting.dot at /register.

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for digital wallets?

For digital wallets, .PAY can be a strong payment-specific brand signal. It does not replace compliance, security or a trusted checkout flow, but it can make the URL purpose obvious. Start with an availability check on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Can shifting.dot be transferred to another owner later?

shifting.dot can generally be transferred to another owner subject to the .PAY registry's policies and standard transfer rules, and the new owner may face the same payment-related validation expectations. domain.pay can guide a future transfer. To first register shifting.dot, start at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken when choosing trust.pay?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
