Frequently asked questions about shackleton.dot

What should I do first if I want a .PAY domain for online checkout for a travel booking brand?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Is shackleton.dot appropriate for a billing or invoicing tool?

shackleton.dot is a natural fit for a billing or invoicing product, as those functions are payment-related and align with the .PAY namespace. The registry typically validates that intended use suits the TLD. domain.pay can register shackleton.dot for your tool at https://domain.pay/register.

During the .PAY launch, what is TMCH and why does it matter for .PAY?

TMCH is the Trademark Clearinghouse. For .PAY priority registration, the trademark record must be validated and the registrant needs a matching SMD file. domain.pay can help start the fast-track or submission path: https://domain.pay/register. Begin early because TMCH handling takes time.

What is the difference between standard and premium for shackleton.dot?

Standard means shackleton.dot is offered at the $100 annual rate, while premium means Amazon Registry Services has assigned shackleton.dot a higher recurring fee. The classification, set by the registry, is the only thing separating the two for shackleton.dot. See which applies at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Are short .PAY names always available for fraud prevention?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
