Frequently asked questions about secular.dot

How do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark for fraud prevention?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Will pre-ordering guarantee I get secular.dot?

A pre-order queues your request for secular.dot but can't guarantee it, because contested labels and registry rules from Amazon Registry Services determine the outcome. If the attempt fails, the pre-order fee is refundable per policy. Place your secular.dot pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for BNPL checkout?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Will I be told which phase secular.dot is in?

Yes. When you engage domain.pay for secular.dot, you are guided to the correct phase, sunrise or general availability, based on whether you hold a trademark, and your secular.dot request is queued for it. Find out at https://domain.pay/register.

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
