Frequently asked questions about scienceworks.dot

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for crypto payments?

domain.pay supports common payment paths including card, wire and crypto-invoice options as listed on the site. Start with the pricing page and checkout flow here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Payment does not guarantee registration; it reserves the applicable service attempt.

Does scienceworks.dot need a CAA record for SSL?

A CAA record on scienceworks.dot restricts which certificate authorities may issue certs for it, adding a layer of security. It's optional but recommended; list the CA you use (e.g. letsencrypt.org) for scienceworks.dot. Add the CAA record in DNS before requesting new certificates.

As an event ticketing business, why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Does registering scienceworks.dot guarantee I get it?

A first-day pre-order improves your timing but does not guarantee scienceworks.dot, because trademark priority and demand can intervene. If the attempt fails, domain.pay refunds it per policy, so you are not out of pocket. See the terms on /pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
