Frequently asked questions about sciemetric.dot

Before choosing donate.pay, do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Can holding sciemetric.dot stop QR-code payment scams using my name?

Owning sciemetric.dot denies scammers the real sciemetric.dot address that QR-code scams often imitate, so a fraudulent code cannot resolve to your genuine payment name. It weakens the scam without fully eliminating QR fraud, which still needs customer awareness. https://domain.pay/register

How do I know if cloud.pay is available?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Will pre-ordering sciemetric.dot hold the name for me?

Pre-ordering sciemetric.dot holds your place in the queue and submits your request to the registry once sciemetric.dot is registrable, but it does not lock the name away from other applicants. If the attempt fails, the fee is refundable per the stated policy. Pre-order sciemetric.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for fraud prevention?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
