Frequently asked questions about scaletech.dot

For mobile money, is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

Does Amazon Registry Services review my SMD for scaletech.dot directly?

NicNames validates the SMD and passes the qualifying claim to the registry. You do not deal with Amazon Registry Services directly for scaletech.dot. Where can I generate .PAY ideas for digital wallets for digital wallets?

For digital wallets, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Can scaletech.dot be released from reserved during launch?

Some reserved labels are released as part of a launch phase, but only if Amazon Registry Services chooses to open scaletech.dot — there's no guarantee for scaletech.dot. Monitoring is the right move since registry status can change. Track scaletech.dot's status at https://domain.pay/domains.

For crypto payments, is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
