Frequently asked questions about saxe.dot

Is .PAY already open to everyone for crypto payments?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How does the trademark-priority window for saxe.dot work?

During the trademark-priority window, holders of the saxe.dot trademark can register saxe.dot ahead of the general public by submitting a TMCH SMD file. This protects brands from losing their name. domain.pay handles the SMD path for saxe.dot at /register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later when choosing subscriptions.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

When should I decide between sunrise and general availability for saxe.dot?

Decide as early as possible: if you hold a matching trademark, prepare for sunrise on saxe.dot; if not, target general availability. Either way, pre-ordering saxe.dot now stages your request. Make the call at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for online checkout?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
