Frequently asked questions about sabbatical.dot

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Why did my earlier sabbatical.dot pre-order not convert?

A pre-order for sabbatical.dot may not convert if Amazon Registry Services classified sabbatical.dot as reserved or blocked, or another applicant secured it under launch rules. In those cases the fee is refundable per policy. Re-check sabbatical.dot's status at https://domain.pay/domains.

As a remittance app, can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Why is impersonation on sabbatical.dot harder for customers to detect?

Because .PAY implies a payment purpose, customers tend to assume any sabbatical.dot address under it is legitimate, lowering their guard. That assumption is exactly why an unprotected sabbatical.dot is dangerous and why NicNames should own it. https://domain.pay/register

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains for digital wallets?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
