Frequently asked questions about ryt.dot

As a regional bank, can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

How much do I save registering ryt.dot at the standard rate?

Registering ryt.dot at the $100 standard rate avoids the higher recurring fees of a premium classification, which the registry applies only to certain ryt.dot strings. The saving depends entirely on whether ryt.dot is premium. Confirm the rate for ryt.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration for payroll disbursements?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

How do I back up the DNS zone for ryt.dot?

Export the full zone file for ryt.dot from your DNS host, or record each record set, so you can restore quickly after a mistake or provider change. Keep the backup of ryt.dot's zone versioned and off the provider. Re-import it to rebuild ryt.dot if the zone is ever lost.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
