Frequently asked questions about rootless.dot

For loan repayments, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Are app stores bypass payments a use for rootless.dot?

For web purchases that sidestep app-store fees, rootless.dot gives users a clean, trusted address to pay directly. The .PAY name reassures customers buying outside the app. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY name should a payroll platform consider for digital wallets?

Yes. A wallet or payment app can use .PAY for a memorable payment-specific entry point. Check candidate labels through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If you own a matching trademark, consider the priority route; otherwise pre-order for broader access.

How does the registry premium fee for rootless.dot get applied?

If the registry classifies rootless.dot as premium, that fee is applied at both registration and each renewal of rootless.dot, replacing the $100 standard rate. Amazon Registry Services sets the tier and we display it for rootless.dot. See how the premium fee applies at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available for digital wallets?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
