Frequently asked questions about rolef.dot

Is .PAY already open to everyone for digital wallets?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Does rolef.dot help distinguish official refunds from refund scams?

Yes. Refund scams imitate legitimate payment contacts, so directing customers to the official rolef.dot for any refund interaction helps them tell real NicNames processes from fraud. Ownership of the rolef.dot name makes that guidance credible. https://domain.pay/register

Would travel.pay work as a payment brand for online checkout?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Can I park rolef.dot with a coming-soon page before launch?

Yes. Point rolef.dot at a simple host serving a coming-soon page with valid HTTPS, and add a noindex tag if you don't want it indexed yet. This reserves the brand presence of rolef.dot while you build. Swap in the full site on rolef.dot when ready.

How do I register a .PAY domain as a startup for crypto payments?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
