Frequently asked questions about revival.dot

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing travel.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

What is the safest way to reserve revival.dot before competitors act?

The safest way to reserve revival.dot before competitors is to place a pre-order now so revival.dot is queued with the registry ahead of general availability, with the fee refundable if it fails per the stated policy. Brand owners can add trademark priority. Reserve revival.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How should a regulated fintech think about .PAY and financial licensing for digital wallets?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Can a startup register revival.dot without licensing?

A startup may often register revival.dot without holding a financial license, since .PAY does not blanket-require licensing for registration. If the startup later runs regulated payments, separate licensing may apply under local law. domain.pay can confirm current eligibility at https://domain.pay/register.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for mobile money?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
