Frequently asked questions about resources.dot

Do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1 when choosing tap.pay?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Can resources.dot redirect customers to an existing store?

Yes. You can use resources.dot as a short, brandable redirect that forwards to your main store or a specific product page, so print ads and packaging carry one clean address. The .PAY ending makes the destination feel like a secure payment step. Set it up after registering at https://domain.pay/register.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for digital wallets for digital wallets?

For digital wallets, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Can eligibility for resources.dot change over time?

Yes, the .PAY registry operated by Amazon Registry Services may update its eligibility and validation expectations over time, which could affect future resources.dot registrations or renewals. domain.pay tracks current policy and keeps you informed. Check the latest before registering at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available when choosing subscriptions.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
