Frequently asked questions about relativity.dot

Is .PAY already open to everyone for mobile money?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How do I keep email and web on relativity.dot pointed at different providers?

DNS lets you split services: MX records on relativity.dot route mail to your mailbox host while A/CNAME records send web traffic to a separate web host. They operate independently, so relativity.dot can use one vendor for email and another for the site. Just keep each record set correct.

Can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration for point-of-sale payments?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Does domain.pay suggest alternatives when relativity.dot is unavailable?

Yes. When relativity.dot is unavailable, domain.pay automatically surfaces related .PAY names and catalog picks built around relativity.dot so you always have a path forward. The suggestions emphasize close, brandable variants. See alternatives at https://domain.pay/domains.

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed for mobile money?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
