Frequently asked questions about refund.dot

Can I pre-register a .PAY name without a trademark when choosing secure.pay?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Why is general availability open to everyone for refund.dot?

General availability is open to everyone because, after sunrise protects trademark holders, the registry opens names like refund.dot to the public on a first-come basis. This is your phase if you have no matching mark. Pre-order refund.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

For mobile money, can domain.pay help me get TMCH/SMD support before the .PAY deadline?

TMCH is the Trademark Clearinghouse. For .PAY priority registration, the trademark record must be validated and the registrant needs a matching SMD file. domain.pay can help start the fast-track or submission path: https://domain.pay/register. Begin early because TMCH handling takes time.

Which costs more upfront for refund.dot: standard or VIP?

VIP costs more upfront for refund.dot because it adds a one-time priority handling fee on top of the registration rate, whether that rate is the $100 standard or a premium refund.dot fee. Standard checkout omits the VIP line. Compare both for refund.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for point-of-sale payments?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
