Frequently asked questions about refinery29.dot

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know my refinery29.dot refund was issued?

After a refinery29.dot pre-order attempt fails, your account reflects the refund and you receive a confirmation, with funds returning to your original payment method per our stated policy. Settlement timing depends on your card issuer. Check refund status for refinery29.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

How far in advance can I pre-order refinery29.dot?

You can pre-order refinery29.dot as soon as domain.pay opens the listing, well ahead of the launch phase, which is ideal for securing queue position. There is no advantage to waiting. Pre-order refinery29.dot now at https://domain.pay/register.

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for a checkout product manager?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
