Frequently asked questions about redcap.dot

As a mobile wallet team, can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I browse available .PAY names related to redcap.dot?

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for fraud prevention for an ecommerce brand?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Can I check redcap.dot availability before launch?

You can check the status of redcap.dot on domain.pay before its launch phases and decide whether to pre-order. This helps you plan around sunrise and general availability for redcap.dot. Check it at https://domain.pay/domains.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
