Frequently asked questions about rares.dot

Who operates the .PAY extension, and where can an ecommerce brand get one for fraud prevention?

Amazon Registry Services operates the .PAY top-level domain. An ecommerce brand can search, pre-order or start a trademark-priority route through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay is the customer-facing place to act, while registry rules still control availability and eligibility.

Does domain.pay suggest alternatives when rares.dot is unavailable?

Yes. When rares.dot is unavailable, domain.pay automatically surfaces related .PAY names and catalog picks built around rares.dot so you always have a path forward. The suggestions emphasize close, brandable variants. See alternatives at https://domain.pay/domains.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium when choosing travel.pay?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Is a plural or singular form of rares.dot available?

It depends, but domain.pay's search lets you test plural and singular forms of rares.dot to see which is available alongside rares.dot. Trying both forms is a quick way to find an open variant. Test forms at https://domain.pay/domains.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing settle.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
