Frequently asked questions about rakish.dot

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for payroll disbursements?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Does moving to rakish.dot require resubmitting my whole sitemap?

When you launch on rakish.dot, generate a fresh sitemap with the new rakish.dot URLs and submit it in Search Console alongside a change-of-address from the old domain. The old sitemap stays only long enough for redirects to be discovered. Keep rakish.dot's sitemap current going forward.

For mobile money, how does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Can I transfer rakish.dot between entities within my company safely?

Yes. NicNames can transfer rakish.dot between affiliated entities while preserving continuous ownership of the rakish.dot name, which keeps protection intact. Keep registrant records accurate so the chain of control is clear in any future dispute. https://domain.pay/
