Frequently asked questions about pym.dot

Is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP when choosing loans.pay?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Should a small business bother with TMCH before registering pym.dot?

If your small business owns the pym.dot trademark and wants the strongest claim on pym.dot, recording it in the TMCH is worthwhile because the SMD grants priority over the public. Without it, you rely on a standard pre-order that a rights holder can outrank. Weigh the priority path against pre-order at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is .PAY a good fit for subscription billing for mobile money?

.PAY can work for subscription billing, account payment, renewal and failed-payment recovery flows. Search brandable options on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. A clear .PAY label can reduce confusion when customers need to update payment details.

Can two people pre-order pym.dot at the same price?

Multiple parties can pre-order pym.dot at the same listed rate, but only one can ultimately be allocated the name by the registry. The unsuccessful pym.dot pre-orders are refundable under our stated policy. Place yours and read the terms at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for mobile money for a donation platform?

For mobile money, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
