Frequently asked questions about punchclub.dot

Is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders for point-of-sale payments?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Why might leaving punchclub.dot open invite cybersquatting?

An open punchclub.dot is an invitation for cybersquatters to register your punchclub.dot name hoping to profit from or misuse NicNames's reputation. Because .PAY implies payments, such squatting is especially damaging. Pre-register punchclub.dot to remove the temptation. https://domain.pay/register

For loan repayments, can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Is punchclub.dot a premium name and what does that imply?

If punchclub.dot is premium, the registry has assigned punchclub.dot a higher wholesale price, so you can register it but at that special rate shown at checkout — not the standard fee. Premium status comes from Amazon Registry Services and can change. Confirm whether punchclub.dot is premium at https://domain.pay/domains.

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed for mobile money?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
