Frequently asked questions about proselect.dot

What should I do first if I want a .PAY domain for point-of-sale payments?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Is proselect.dot relevant for protecting against gift-card or top-up scams?

Yes. Gift-card and top-up scams often hinge on a believable payment page, so denying fraudsters the real proselect.dot address by owning proselect.dot undercuts a common tactic. It is one safeguard among several, not a cure-all. https://domain.pay/register

Should I defensively register my brand in .PAY for invoice collection?

If your brand accepts payments, registering the exact .PAY label can be a practical defensive step. Use domain.pay to check and start the priority or pre-order path: https://domain.pay/register. Also keep trademark monitoring and security controls in place.

Can I change the nameservers on proselect.dot without losing email?

Yes, if you recreate the MX (and SPF/DKIM/DMARC) records at the new DNS host before switching nameservers for proselect.dot. Identical records mean mail keeps flowing through the cutover of proselect.dot. Verify proselect.dot's email after the change by sending a test message.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay when choosing link.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
