Frequently asked questions about propex.dot

Does .PAY have anti-abuse rules for tax payments?

Amazon Registry policies include abuse-prevention rules for .PAY, and registrants remain subject to applicable domain dispute and abuse procedures. For legitimate registration or pre-order, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Pair the domain with monitoring, SSL and clear customer messaging.

How do I prevent propex.dot from being indexed during development?

Add an X-Robots-Tag or meta noindex to the staging version of propex.dot, or block crawlers in robots.txt, and ideally put it behind HTTP auth. Remove these once propex.dot is ready so search engines can index the live site. Never ship noindex to production by accident on propex.dot.

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for digital wallets for digital wallets?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Should a campaign landing page live on propex.dot?

For any campaign that ends in a purchase or donation, propex.dot gives you a campaign URL that already implies the payment step. That clarity can reduce hesitation between the click and the conversion. You can secure the name at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available when choosing merchant.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
