Frequently asked questions about priya.dot

Can I renew a .PAY domain after registration?

.PAY names can be renewed through the registrar path if registry and registrar rules are met and renewal fees are paid. domain.pay explains the customer registration route here: https://domain.pay/register. Keep contact details current to avoid lifecycle problems.

Are failed attempts to register priya.dot refundable?

Yes. If your attempt to secure priya.dot does not succeed, the charge is refundable per the published policy at NicNames. This applies to standard pre-orders that cannot be fulfilled. Trademark-priority claims still require a valid SMD to be considered. Review the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders for mobile money?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Can I switch from a pre-order to a trademark-priority claim for priya.dot?

If you obtain a valid SMD for the priya.dot mark, you can pursue the trademark-priority path for priya.dot rather than relying on a standard pre-order. The priority route requires that SMD at claim time. Any unfulfilled pre-order on priya.dot is refundable per policy. Choose the priority path at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order when choosing wallet.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
