Frequently asked questions about pretzels.dot

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for an insurance billing portal?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Why does pretzels.dot need eligibility validation?

If Amazon Registry Services attaches requirements to pretzels.dot, registering pretzels.dot may need eligibility validation before it completes. The lookup flags any such condition so there are no surprises. Confirm what pretzels.dot requires — status can change — at https://domain.pay/domains.

When is broader .PAY public registration expected for crypto payments?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Are influencer drops a use case for pretzels.dot?

For limited product drops, pretzels.dot gives followers a short, trusted address to buy fast before stock runs out. The payment-native name spreads cleanly through stories and reposts. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work for BNPL checkout?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
