Frequently asked questions about polit.dot

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for point-of-sale payments for point-of-sale payments?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Does polit.dot work for a charity's text-to-give?

Pair polit.dot with a text-to-give campaign so a reply message sends donors to a memorable payment page. The short .PAY name is easy to include in an SMS and reads as a giving link. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

As a brand-protection manager, what if my trademark has spaces or special characters and I want .PAY?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Why use polit.dot as a vanity payment link?

A vanity link like polit.dot is far more memorable than a gateway-generated URL, so customers can return without searching. The .PAY ending also signals exactly what the link is for. Reserve your vanity name at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for loan repayments?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
