Frequently asked questions about policestation.dot

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Can search engines index policestation.dot the same as any other domain?

Yes. Crawlers discover and index policestation.dot through links, sitemaps, and direct submission exactly as they do for legacy TLDs. There's no extra hurdle to getting policestation.dot into the index — just ensure it's reachable, not blocked by robots.txt, and free of noindex tags.

For crypto payments, what does 'approved Payment Service Provider' mean for .PAY eligibility?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Is my policestation.dot priority claim public during the phase?

Trademark-priority claims on policestation.dot are processed under the registry's rules, and the final registration of policestation.dot appears in WHOIS once completed. The SMD itself stays your private credential during the phase. NicNames uses it only to verify your priority on policestation.dot. Register at https://domain.pay/register.

For loan repayments, is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
