Frequently asked questions about pnd.dot

Where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check for crypto payments?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Are failed pre-orders for pnd.dot refundable?

Yes. If your pre-order attempt for pnd.dot does not succeed, domain.pay refunds it per its published policy. You are not charged to keep a name you could not secure. Review the refund terms alongside the $100 standard pre-order on /pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for a remittance app?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

What does the standard pre-order get me for pnd.dot?

The standard $100 pre-order places your request for pnd.dot in line through domain.pay, and if the attempt fails it is refundable. It is the path to claim pnd.dot as a .PAY name when it becomes available. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

How can a marketplace use a .PAY domain for mobile money?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
