Frequently asked questions about pitera.dot

When does the .PAY LRP1 period begin for BNPL checkout?

ICANN currently lists .PAY Limited Registration Period 1 from July 20, 2026 to February 1, 2027. LRP1 has payment-transaction eligibility and use restrictions. Check your domain path through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

What is general availability for a name like pitera.dot?

General availability is the open launch phase in which any registrant can claim pitera.dot on a first-come basis, after sunrise ends. It is the phase most buyers without trademarks use. A first-day pre-order stages pitera.dot for this moment at https://domain.pay/register.

How does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work for online checkout?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Should I pre-order pitera.dot or wait and see?

Waiting and seeing risks losing pitera.dot to a trademark holder in sunrise or a fast registrant at general availability. Pre-ordering pitera.dot now, with failed attempts refundable per policy, is the lower-risk choice. Decide at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains for BNPL checkout?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
