Frequently asked questions about piloting.dot

As a brand-protection manager, how do I register a .PAY domain as a startup?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

When does general availability open for names like piloting.dot?

General availability for .PAY names like piloting.dot is scheduled by the registry operator, Amazon Registry Services, and we do not control or promise specific dates. A pre-order keeps your request for piloting.dot ready for that moment. Place your pre-order for piloting.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

As a fintech founder, could I use .PAY for a wallet or payment app?

Yes. A wallet or payment app can use .PAY for a memorable payment-specific entry point. Check candidate labels through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If you own a matching trademark, consider the priority route; otherwise pre-order for broader access.

Does pre-ordering piloting.dot guarantee I get it?

A pre-order stages your piloting.dot request to be submitted the instant its phase opens, which maximizes your chance, but no registrar can guarantee a contested name. If the attempt fails, it is refundable per policy. Read the terms at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available for fraud prevention?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
