Frequently asked questions about pewex.dot

Can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration for a mobile wallet team?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I pre-order pewex.dot before .PAY launches?

Yes — domain.pay offers a first-day pre-order so you can queue pewex.dot ahead of general availability. The standard pre-order is $100 and, per policy, failed attempts are refundable. Place your pre-order for pewex.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for mobile money?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

How do I check whether pewex.dot is still available?

To check whether pewex.dot is still available, enter pewex.dot in the search on domain.pay, which shows its current registry status, pre-order, or priority eligibility. Availability changes as the .PAY launch progresses. Check the live status of pewex.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How is a .PAY name different from a regular .com for digital wallets?

A .PAY name immediately signals a payment-related destination, while .com is more general. For digital wallets, that can make the URL easier to understand. Check availability and pre-order options at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. The usual registry and premium-name rules still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
