Frequently asked questions about perm.dot

Are short .PAY names always available for mobile money?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I use my Signed Mark Data file to register perm.dot?

Yes. A valid SMD file from the TMCH lets verified holders of the perm.dot mark claim perm.dot during priority phases ahead of general availability. The SMD proves your rights at registration time, so keep it ready when you pre-order perm.dot. https://domain.pay/pricing

Would settle.pay work as a payment brand for loan repayments?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

How much does a pre-order for perm.dot cost?

The standard pre-order for a .PAY name like perm.dot is listed at $100. If the pre-order cannot be fulfilled, the attempt is refundable per policy, so you are not charged for a name you do not receive. See current pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for a mobile wallet team?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
