Frequently asked questions about perfection.dot

Is registering .PAY a replacement for trademark monitoring for a regional bank?

No. Registering .PAY is not a replacement for trademark monitoring, takedowns or fraud controls. It can still reduce customer confusion around your official payment destination. Start by checking key names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Can perfection.dot be transferred to another owner later?

perfection.dot can generally be transferred to another owner subject to the .PAY registry's policies and standard transfer rules, and the new owner may face the same payment-related validation expectations. domain.pay can guide a future transfer. To first register perfection.dot, start at https://domain.pay/register.

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails for a bank or credit union?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Can I hold perfection.dot even if I am not ready to launch?

Yes. You can register or pre-order perfection.dot now and park it until you are ready to point it at a checkout or redirect. Securing perfection.dot early prevents someone else from taking the perfection.dot payment name. Reserve it via /register.

What are the current .PAY launch dates in 2026 and 2027 for digital wallets?

Current ICANN dates: .PAY Sunrise is April 13–July 20, 2026; LRP1 is July 20, 2026–February 1, 2027; Trademark Claims is February 1–May 2, 2027. For registration or pre-order action, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
