Frequently asked questions about peoplecert.dot

Can an ecommerce brand using Stripe or another processor apply for .PAY in LRP1 for fraud prevention?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

What happens to my peoplecert.dot pre-order if a trademark holder claims it?

If a validated TMCH holder claims peoplecert.dot during the priority phase with a valid SMD, their claim takes precedence and your standard pre-order cannot be fulfilled. In that case your pre-order charge for peoplecert.dot is refundable per the published policy. You are not charged for a name you cannot receive. Read the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider for BNPL checkout?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

How do I back up the DNS zone for peoplecert.dot?

Export the full zone file for peoplecert.dot from your DNS host, or record each record set, so you can restore quickly after a mistake or provider change. Keep the backup of peoplecert.dot's zone versioned and off the provider. Re-import it to rebuild peoplecert.dot if the zone is ever lost.

What .PAY name should an event ticketing business consider for mobile money?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.
