Frequently asked questions about peakdesign.dot

As a regional bank, how does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Why is general availability open to everyone for peakdesign.dot?

General availability is open to everyone because, after sunrise protects trademark holders, the registry opens names like peakdesign.dot to the public on a first-come basis. This is your phase if you have no matching mark. Pre-order peakdesign.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

For mobile money, how exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Does NicNames charge extra to process my SMD for peakdesign.dot?

NicNames processes your SMD as part of the trademark-priority registration for peakdesign.dot under its published pricing; the standard pre-order alternative is listed at $100. Always confirm current figures rather than assuming a separate SMD fee. The pricing page has the authoritative numbers for peakdesign.dot. See https://domain.pay/pricing.

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
