Frequently asked questions about paxton.dot

How can a brand reduce confusion around payment pages for secure payment links?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Why is paxton.dot a trust anchor in customer communications?

Referencing paxton.dot as the sole official payment address gives customers a fixed, verifiable point to trust in every message from NicNames. That consistency makes deviations from the real paxton.dot name stand out as suspicious. Establish it at https://domain.pay/register.

When is broader .PAY public registration expected for an event ticketing business?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Should I register paxton.dot even if I have no immediate use for it?

Yes. Defensive registration of paxton.dot keeps the official paxton.dot payment name out of impersonators' hands even before you build anything on it. With a $100 pre-order and refunds on failure, holding paxton.dot now is cheaper than a later dispute. https://domain.pay/register

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name when choosing travel.pay?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
