Frequently asked questions about passio.dot

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Does my country's regulation affect passio.dot?

Your country's financial regulation can affect how you operate payment services on passio.dot, even though it does not change the .PAY registry's own eligibility framework. The two layers are separate. domain.pay handles registry-side eligibility; consult local counsel on regulation. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for point-of-sale payments?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

What should I do if passio.dot shows as reserved?

If passio.dot shows reserved, you can't register it now, but you can monitor it in case Amazon Registry Services releases passio.dot later. Consider close alternatives in the meantime. Registry status can change — re-check passio.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

For crypto payments, can I reserve payroll.pay before broader registration opens?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
