Frequently asked questions about paraid.dot

For point-of-sale payments, is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Why is Amazon Registry Services running .PAY relevant to paraid.dot?

Having an established operator like Amazon Registry Services behind .PAY means paraid.dot sits on professionally run, policy-governed infrastructure. That backing supports the namespace's stability and trust. It is a reason paraid.dot reads as a serious payment address.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for digital wallets for a brand-protection manager?

For digital wallets, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Does paraid.dot require a separate account to upload my SMD?

You complete the SMD upload for paraid.dot within the NicNames registration flow, which guides you through providing the file and your details. The trademark-priority step for paraid.dot happens in that same flow rather than a separate portal. Begin and upload your SMD at https://domain.pay/register.

For online checkout, what .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
