Frequently asked questions about outperformance.dot

Does .PAY require payment-related use after registration for payroll disbursements?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Is outperformance.dot blocked by the registry?

A blocked label is one Amazon Registry Services has placed entirely off-limits, so outperformance.dot can't be registered while that block stands. Blocks differ from reservations and may be lifted under future policy, so registry status can change — re-check outperformance.dot. Run a live lookup at https://domain.pay/domains.

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for digital wallets for a donation platform?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For digital wallets, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

How do I make sure my SMD matches the exact label in outperformance.dot?

Open your TMCH record to see the validated mark text, then compare it against the outperformance.dot string in outperformance.dot character by character before submitting. NicNames only grants priority when the SMD-encoded mark matches that label for outperformance.dot. A mismatch routes you to standard pre-order at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day for BNPL checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
